LAMP is a design consultancy for people renovating or re-imagining their homes — providing clear, practical direction so decisions feel confident, not overwhelming.
Why Lamp
Lamp was founded with a clear intention: to make thoughtful interior design more accessible to people who might otherwise see it as out of reach. Too often, interior design is perceived as an unattainable luxury — dismissed early due to budget concerns, uncertainty, or the feeling that professional help is only for a certain type of project or person. Lamp exists to bridge that gap, offering clear, proportionate design support that helps people move forward with confidence.
How it Works
Created by Catriona, Lamp offers tailored, practical design direction shaped around how people actually live. Having seen so many struggle to bring ideas to fruition — despite moodboards, inspiration, and good intentions — the approach is deliberately straightforward.
Each project begins with understanding: how you live, what matters to you, and where you feel stuck. From there, Lamp provides clear guidance, transparent pricing, and a defined scope — offering support where it’s most useful, while empowering you to take on the parts you’re happy to manage yourself. Like any strong build, the process starts with a firm foundation — ensuring decisions are made with confidence rather than overwhelm.
Before Lamp
Catriona has spent over 15 years working internationally across residential, cultural, and commercial projects, alongside living in multiple countries. This experience has shaped a deep understanding of how people interact with their environments — and how space quietly influences how we feel, function, and live.
Her background includes work connected to organisations such as Netflix, Warner Bros, Nike, MoMA New York, and M+ Hong Kong.
Alongside Lamp, Catriona continues to work selectively in a consultancy and creative direction capacity with design practices in London. This ongoing industry involvement brings a broader perspective into her residential work, while remaining rooted in a personal, human-led approach to home design.
